On the 24th August 2012, Talaris™ launched their new cash recycler, the Vertera 6G™. Cash recyclers enable bank and retail branches to manage their cash efficiently and securely, providing a fast yet reliable method of cash management within businesses such as bank and retail branches.
Even with a small footprint, the Vertera 6G™ is able to provide high capacity recycling due to its capability of configuring up to 12 roll storage modules, enabling it to hold between 2,400 to around 7,200 recyclable banknotes.
The Vertera 6G™ contains a large touch screen display which, according to Talaris™, say provides users with a simple, easy to use menu structure displaying the system status, first-line diagnostics, guided error recovery and inventory information.
Talaris™ states it uses “advanced authentication and detection” including infrared, ultraviolet and visible light as well as magnetics and physical defect detection technology. It’s also been designed with “upgradeable fitness detection” providing what Talaris™ hope to be a long term solution for businesses.
The Vertera 6G™ offers reliable and flexible secure note storage, claiming to have “no risk of stacking errors, no note interlocking or sticking, no rejected notes to manage” and versatile storage options. It is also provides additional storage capacity of up to 1,500 banknotes. Most importantly, Talaris™ claims it fits most branch staff workstations and is compatible with major CIT cash transfer protocols.
