Colombia’s Banco de la Repüblica has issued the 10,000 peso banknote, completing the issuance of the country’s new banknote family.
The 10,000 peso banknote was issued yesterday, the 7 December 2016.
The new note is predominantly red in colour is 66mm in height and 138mm in width. As per the previously issued banknotes in the new series, the 10,000-peso note includes tactile features to assist those with visual impairments to identify its denomination. It also includes colour changing security ink features and a hidden latent image. Other features include perfect register, see through features and a colour changing windowed security thread.
