To celebrate the 300th anniversary of the Coronation, the Narodowy Bank Polski (NBP) will start circulating a commemorative banknote from the 21 August 2017.

The front of the banknote displays imagery of the crowns bestowed by Pope Clement XI, and the reverse displays a drawing published in Rome in 1717, depicting the coronation of the Miraculous Icon of the Mother of God – the illumination of the sanctuary and a view of the coronation altar.
The Central Bank has issued an education poster detailing the features of the new 20-zloty paper commemorative banknote, including the following security features:
- SPARK® Live
- iridescent ink
- multi-tone intaglio features
- UV features
- electrotype watermark
- embedded security thread
- tactile features for the visually impaired
- see through register image
- microtext
- latent image
The NBP will issue up to 55,000 banknotes, to be sold at NBP regional branches and online.
