Armenia has released a collectable 500 drams banknote called Noah’s Ark, printed on Louisenthal’s Hybrid® composite banknote substrate.
The new banknote was issued in Armenia yesterday by the country’s Central Bank.

The new banknote is printed on Hybrid® banknote substrate from Louisenthal, consisting of a central cotton paper core surrounded by outer layers of polymer film.
The colour scheme of the banknote includes golds, greys, browns and blues, and the note’s dimensions are 140mm by 76mm.
The banknote’s design includes biblical illustrations of Noah and his family with animals and birds, set in front of Mount Ararat.
According to local reports, the collectable banknote is a sample of the new third generation banknotes to be issued by the Central Bank next year, marking the 25th anniversary of introduction of the national currency.
